A Fresh Way to Hydrate

We all know how important it is to stay hydrated, right? At least 2 litres of water a day will help to keep your body functioning at it's maximum potential, as well as leaving you feeling fresh af. I've always been a big drinker (when talking about water that is!) so I can vouch for the fact that when I've been drinking continuously throughout the day I feel 10x better than if I'd been sipping every now and then.. YAY for hydration!
Now as much as I enjoy the benefits of drinking water, I'll be the first to admit that it's flavourless-ness does get a little tiresome.. and this is where Pinterest comes in. Oh Pinterest, your wisdom really is second to none. Throughout the Summer my feed was overflowing with fruity concoctions (and I'm sure yours was too!) to give your bog standard glass of water a much needed update- trust me, I'm not one for eating fruit, but I can't get enough of the stuff when it's infusing my water bottle! Oh, and did I mention the added antioxidants that you get from the fruit? Have a little play around, there are no right or wrong combinations!

Some of my favourite ways to spice up my water are:
Lemon, lime and mint
Lime and mint, with a pinch of sugar (the perfect virgin mojito!)
Orange, lemon and lime
Strawberries, raspberries and mint

Just throw in some ice and you're good to go! I know that the weather is a little chillier here in the UK at the moment, so why not try heating your water first? The concept may seem strange at first, but if you drink fruit teas then it isn't any different.. I'll let you know how it goes!
