A Skincare Update: Liz Earle

With the risk of sounding like a moaner, my skin has been so much worse than usual over these past couple of weeks. I have been spending a lot of time cramming for my last couple of weeks of uni, which has taken its toll on my skincare routine- hint, it has been non existent. I am determined to be blemish free by the May Ball that I am attending on the 14th, so when I heard that FeelUnique.com had a 20% off student event, I thought that I would take the opportunity to switch up my skincare. After scouring the site for what seemed like forever, reading review after review, I settle on the Liz Earle Hot Cloth Cleanser; I have heard nothing but good things about this brand, so I decided to give it a try.. after all, it couldn't make my skin any worse!

This particular product has won dozens of beauty awards, and after a week of using this cleanser both morning and night (which is recommended), I feel that I can confidently say it's worth the hype! This plant based cleanser leaves your skin feeling immediately fresh, with a glowy appearance- perfect! It can be applied to clean skin, or likewise a face full of make up, working in the same way for both, to remove any impurities. You then gently massage one or two pumps over the eyes, face and neck in circular motions to cleanse the skin. I however found the concept of using a muslin cloth to remove the cleanser something that I had to get used to, but now I'm hooked! The combination of the warm cloth and the cool cleanser, alongside the amazing smell provides the ultimate relaxing experience- it is safe to say that cleansing my skin is now my favourite past time!

If you haven't tried this product yet, I would definitely recommend it. After just a week of use, my skin has never felt so soft! It has evened out the appearance of scarring as well as reducing overall redness; if you are prone to mini breakouts like me, head over to FeelUnique and pick yourself up the Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit. It comes with 100ml of product, as well as 2 muslin cloths, which is ideal for testing out the brand.

Have you tried Liz Earle products? What's your favourite? I'm desperate to delve deeper!
