Yes, it's that time of year again! Now I'm sure you're all sick to death of gift guides by now, but I've put together a little collection of stocking fillers that I would personally love to receive.. From food, to homeware, these goodies are all under £15 to purchase and are suitable for both men and women (although, I think the ladies would prefer them a little more!) Now I don't know about you, but I think that stockings are made for little goodies that you wouldn't necessarily purchase for yourself, but would love to get your hands on none the less; think coffee table books, miniature cosmetics and something to satisfy those inevitable crimbo cravings!
If you ask me, books are one of the many joys of Christmas. Now don't get me wrong, I read all year round.. but at this time of year I tend to spend a lot more time curled up with a book and some form of festive candle flickering beside me- bliss! Although none of the books that I've included above are stories so to speak, they are what I like to call 'coffee table books', meaning that they are perfect to leave lying around ready to pick up at a moments notice! I find great comfort in reading these sorts of books, as they allow me to momentarily zone into my own little world. The Little Book of Hygge is something that I've struggled to put down of late, with How to be Parisian following close behind- and since receiving One Line A Day last December, I believe that it's a lovely, yet failsafe prezzie!
Another Christmas essential is an abundance of sweet treats; you will never find me with an empty stomach over the festive period, whether I'm snacking on chocolate or some form of savoury nibble, it's not gonna happen! Upon recent discovery, I found the perfect form of sweetery to fill the stockings of my loved ones- Mak's Candy. Since chatting with the founder of the company, Rosh, I have become smitten with not only the amazing array of flavours, but the brand itself. If you're looking for something a little bit different, but guaranteed to tantalise tastebuds, this is just the thing you've been looking for.
Stockings really are the perfect place to cram a little bit of everything; I don't know about you, but I always get miniature versions of my favourite beauty and body bits. I'm a sucker for The Body Shop hand cream and this year they have released a range of mini festive scents.. so of course, they had to be included! And is it really Christmas without some festive socks? I don't think so. These little decorative cactus socks are a bargain at only £3 on ASOS!
Over the past year I have collaborated with a number of exciting brands, one of those being Coconut Lane; this print is one of my favourite pieces from their collection- the wording says it all! I love receiving bits for the home at Christmas, whether they're festive or can be used all year round, there's something about having something to keep that is super lovely (not that I'm going to be turning away chocolatey gifts, of course!). Don't forget, you can use my code marthamolly20 to receive 20% off at Coconut Lane!
Have you picked up any of these bargain pieces to fill your stockings? If not, go go go!
I would deffo love to receive all of these as well, especially those Body Shop hand creams, I haven't seen those festive scents yet - I'm gonna have to check them out!
