Kate Spade New York: The Cedar Street Cami

From the beautifully crafted leather accessories to their collection of quirky jewellery, Kate Spade is something that dreams are made of.

In the run up to Christmas I entered a Kate Spade competition giving one lucky winner the opportunity to win a gift card for themselves and a friend.. and much to my surprise, a miracle happened! As soon as the gift card came through the post I began scouting the website in search of the perfect gift for my Momma and me (because if you can't treat yourself at Christmas when can you?) Despite the decision being ridiculously difficult, with a lengthy list of wants and needs building up in my shopping basket, I decided on four pieces. Three for my friends, and one for me- the Cedar Street Cami. For experienced buyers of designer bags, this is nothing, but for somebody like myself who rarely splurges on expensive pieces, its a big deal.. and BOY am I in love. I can't thank Kate Spade enough.

This clutch size, cross body bag is a versatile option that can be worn from day to night; I chose to purchase it in 'wine', as its deep red colour compliments my seemingly monochrome wardrobe perfectly. Despite the bag being very small, I found that it is the perfect piece to carry my phone, purse and trusty cosmetic bits; I am one of those people who likes to be prepared for everything, keeping a few too many 'essentials' in my bag, so being limited to just a few is strange, but surprisingly refreshing.

Having received my parcel of goodies, I am well and truly hooked on Kate Spade; although I owned a few small accessories beforehand, I was never lucky enough to own something this luxurious! As well as my bag, this Christmas I was well and truly spoilt by both my family and my boyfriend.. My parents treated me to a gorgeous matching purse, and Jack bought me the perfect jewellery holder for my daintiest jewellery pieces- so I have no excuse to misplace them now!

If you haven't heard of Kate Spade (which seems to apply to a surprising amount of people!) I urge you to check out their website; not only are the pieces beautiful, but the delivery is speedy and the customer service can't be faulted. Oh and if that wasn't enough, their sale is full of things that you would be mad to miss- so get shopping!
